Awakenings: Art in Society in Asia 1960s-1990s exmains the powerful role that artists across Asia played during on of the region's most turbulent periods. This tea is inspired by 'Rematerialisation', a theme from the exhibbition. A rarity today, condensed milk canisters are recycled and used to hold takeaway coffee ni the Kopitiams in Singapore. The use of ement takes cue from another exhibition theme–'Agitating Ubran Life', immortalising a dying trait that was once common in the day to day lives of Singaporeans. Tea canister is handcrafted by local design studio, Orbjek coupled with 'Renowned Unknown Fragrance' tea, a locally-blended tradtional tea by Pek Sin Choon, one of the oldest tea houses in Singapore.
